Customers and Providers
Customers – Seekers of Providers
Customers are all those who seek for a service, professional, business or a product without paying any sort of subscription.
The user agrees to use the TaGo App, Web and API, the contents and services in accordance with the Law, this Legal Notice, good customs and public order. Similarly, the User agrees not to use the Mobile App, Web and API or the services provided through it for purposes or effects unlawful or contrary to the content of this Legal Notice, harmful to the interests or rights of third parties, or that of Any form may damage, disable or impair the Mobile App, Web and API or its services or prevent normal enjoyment of the Mobile App, Web and API by other Users.
The user expressly agrees not to destroy, alter, disable or, in any other way, damage the data, programs or electronic documents and others found on the Mobile App, Web and API.
The user undertakes not to hinder access to other users to the access service through mass consumption of computer resources through which TaGo provides the service, as well as perform actions that damage, interrupt or generate errors in such systems or services.
The user undertakes not to introduce programs, viruses, macros, applets, ActiveX controls or any other logical device or sequence of characters that cause or are likely to cause any type of alteration in the computer systems of TaGo or third parties.
The user agrees not to obtain information, messages, graphics, drawings, sound and / or image files, photographs, recordings, software and in general, any kind of material accessible through the Mobile App, Web and API or the services offered in the same.
It is understood that the access or use of the Mobile App, Web and API by the user implies acceptance by the latter of the Legal Notice that TaGo has published at the time of access, which will always be available to users.
The user undertakes to make an appropriate use of the contents and services that TaGo offers on its Mobile App, Web and API and not to use them to engage in illicit activities or contrary to good faith and legal order; disseminate content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic, pornographic-illegal, apology of terrorism or assault against human rights.

All the rights of Industrial and Intellectual Property of the application TaGo (android and iOS) and Web www.tradeandgo.com and of its contents (texts, images, sounds, audio, video, designs, creativities, software) belong, as author of collective work or as transferee, to TaGo or, where appropriate, to third parties.
The reproduction, distribution and public communication, including the way it is made available, of all or part of the contents of the TaGo Mobile App, Web and API, for commercial purposes, in any medium and by any technical means, are expressly prohibited. In order to use the Platform services, you need to provide us with a valid email address, and for Platform services that require registration, a name associated with your account that you can choose and that represents your identity on TaGo. You may review, change, or remove that name through your account settings. You need to provide this information to enable us to provide you with the Platform services.
Depending on which Platform services you choose to use, additional information, such as a business name, billing and payment information (including billing contact name, address, telephone number, credit card information), a telephone number, and/or a physical postal address, may be necessary in order for us to provide a particular service. You are not required to provide us with this information to sign up, but we will need it to provide certain Platform services. For example, we need a physical postal address if you are buying something on the Mobile App or Website for delivery. As an TaGo provider and/or seller, if you choose to use our third-party payment service, TaGo may require information such as your full name, social security number, identification ID or tax ID, date of birth, bank account information, credit card information, and/or other proof of identification in order to verify your identity and provide this service to you and to comply with applicable law.
We may need to store credit card information (or arrange for it to be stored) and use it for both billing and payment purposes. Depending on your local jurisdiction, you can also choose to allow us to save your credit card information to facilitate the checkout process for future purchases. TaGo may contact individual business owners confidentially to request more information about their businesses or items listed through the Platform services, or to ensure compliance with our rules and applicable law. In order to use certain products or Platform services on TaGo, you may be required to complete an application; information that you submit through the application processes will not be displayed publicly and will only be used internally by TaGo, unless otherwise specified.
Background Checks: To register as a Provider, you may need to provide other personal information, such as your address and social security number to our background check service provider. The information is collected so that we can assess whether to permit a user to use the TaGo Platform as a Provider. We may use report information we receive from background check service providers for the purposes of assessing whether to permit an individual to use the TaGo Platform as a Provider and to comply with applicable law. You may provide your name and other personal information (such as birthday, gender, location) in connection with your account and activity. You can edit or remove this information through your account settings.
The name associated with your account, which you may review and change in your account settings, is publicly displayed and connected to your TaGo activity. Other people may see the date you joined; ratings, reviews and related photos for items you purchased or sold; your profile information; items you listed for sale; your shop pages and policies; your Favorites, followers, and those you follow; sold item listings and the number of items sold; comments you post in our community spaces; and information you decide to share via social networks.
Users can set up two independent profiles: Customer (to search) and as Provider (to advertise and sell services or products).

To protect all your data, TaGo has systems protected by the respective security certificates. The Security Certificates used (SSL) guarantee that all your personal data such as address, profession, telephones, and the details of credit cards, debit cards and other forms of payment will not be disclosed or used for other purposes to which it was designed. the TaGo system This certified security in the TaGo Platform also prevents access to information by third parties.
We automatically collect information from your browser when you visit our Mobile App or Website. This information includes your IP address, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us and the referring website address. TaGo also automatically receives and records information from your mobile device when you visit the Mobile App or Website or use the Apps or use certain other Platform services, such as your IP address or unique device identifier, cookies and data about which pages you visit in order to allow us to operate and provide the Platform services. This information is stored in log files and is collected automatically.
We may combine this information from your browser or your mobile device with other information that we or our partners collect about you, including across devices. This information is used to prevent fraud and to keep the Platform services and transactions secure, to analyses and understand how the Platform services work for members and visitors, and to provide advertising, including across your devices, and a more personalized experience for members and visitors.
We collect transaction details related to your use of the TaGo Platform, including information about the type of service requested, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, communications between users of the TaGo Platform, ratings and reviews, and other related transaction details.
We collect information that is generated automatically about how you and visitors interact with the TaGo Platform, preferences expressed, and settings chosen. When we associate such information with personal information, we will treat the combination as personal information.
We use Twilio to mask your telephone number when you call or text (SMS) message another User using the telephone number provided by TaGo through the App. If you use this function, TaGo and Twilio receive in real time and store call data, including the date and time of the call or text (SMS) message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the text (SMS) messages. We may collect information about your mobile device, including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names and versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network information.
Customer and/or provider rating, and feedback.
Customers requesting services or doing business for or on your behalf.
Customers and/or providers providing your information in connection with referral programs.
Customers and/or providers providing information in connection with claims or disputes.
TaGo business partners through which you create or access your TaGo account, such as payment providers, social media services, on-demand supporting services, or apps or websites who use TaGo’s APIs.
PR and marketing service providers.
We collect precise location data through the TaGo app when it is used by Providers and the Providers' devices permit such information to be collected by us. We may collect this information when Providers use certain functionality, such as help navigating to a location to provide the Services, and we may also collect the precise location of your device when the app is running in the foreground or background. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address. We use geo-location for the purposes of providing the services on the TaGo Platform, such as matching Customers to Providers, providing status updates to users when Providers are traveling to the site to perform their Services, and helping confirm that a Provider performed Services. We retain in an identifiable manner only the most recent geo-location information we have about a user. You may stop this information collection by uninstalling the TaGo Platform from your mobile device.
We also may use and disclose geo-location we collect through the TaGo Platform for other business purposes, including for legal purposes (such as to enforce our agreements) and in the event of a proposed or actual merger, sale, or other business asset transfers. The geo-location information obtained about a User will be retained in an identifiable manner, along with geo-location data about business and job sites where Providers performed Platform services on initial and/or follow-up jobs or delivers products.
We may collect information about time and behavior and the Platform services for advertising, analytics, to serve content and to protect the Platform services, including your IP address, browser information (including referrers), device information. When you use the Web and Apps, you may choose to share your geo-location details with TaGo in order to use functions like our local marketplace, tracker, maps, and for sell and shop (SeSho) and offers. You may choose to publish your location when you sell on TaGo.
We may obtain location information you provide in your profile or your IP address. With your consent, we may also determine location by using other information from your device, such as precise location information from GPS or information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device. We may use and store information about your location to provide features and to improve and customize the Platform services, for example, for TaGo’s internal analytics and performance monitoring; localization, regional requirements, and policies for the Platform services; for local content, search results, and recommendations; for mapping Platform services; and (using non-precise location information) marketing. If you have consented to share your precise device location details but would no longer like to continue sharing that information with us, you may revoke your consent to the sharing of that information through the settings on the Apps or on your mobile device. Certain non-precise location Platform services, such as for security and localized policies based on your IP address or submitted address, are critical for the Mobile App and Website to function. We will only share your geo-location details with third parties (like our mapping, payments, or, to the extent applicable, advertising providers) in order to provide you with the Platform services. You may also choose to enable the Apps to access your mobile device’s camera to upload photographs to TaGo.
We use data business intelligence, IOT and analytics to ensure functionality of our Platform services globally and improve the capacity of our modules and resources. We use mobile business intelligence and analytics software to allow us to understand the functionality of the Apps on your phone and web. This software may record information such as how often you use the Apps and Web, what happens within the Web and Apps, aggregated usage, performance data, app errors and debugging information, and where the Web is accessed and Apps were downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the business intelligence and analytics software to any personally identifiable information that you submit within the mobile application.
Some members or visitors may choose to connect to TaGo or register an TaGo account using an external third-party application, such as Facebook, or an app developed using the TaGo API. TaGo may receive information from those connected third-party applications. Connecting your TaGo account to third-party applications or Platform services is optional. If you choose to connect your account to a third-party application, TaGo may receive information from that application. We may also collect public information in order to connect with you. We may use that information as part of providing the Platform services to you. You can also choose to share some of your activity on TaGo on certain social media networks which are connected to your TaGo account, and you can revoke your permission anytime in your account settings.
TaGo may receive or obtain information (for example, an email address or IP address) about a person who is not yet a registered TaGo or TaGo Studio member (a “non-member”) in connection with certain TaGo features, such as when a non-member chooses to subscribe to an TaGo newsletter, a member invites a non-member to visit the Mobile App and Website, a member uploads non-member information using the contact uploader feature, a non-member engages in a transaction, or a member sends a gift card code to a non-member, or a non-member uses the Guest Checkout feature when making a purchase through one of the Platform services. Non-member information is used only for the purposes disclosed when it was submitted to TaGo or to facilitate action authorized by the non-member.
Because we respect your rights to your own privacy, we are committed to our policies established for the collection and/or use of your “Personal Information,” which is hereby defined as “full name, username, postal address, phone number, email address, age, birth date, and any information that could be used to identify, contact, or locate you directly without using the TaGo Platform.”
By using the TaGo Platform, you are authorizing us to collect, parse, and retain data related to the provision of the TaGo Platform. However, we also provide Users with options and choices regarding how we use and disclose some or all of your Personal Information, as set forth specifically below, including how to access, correct, and/or remove it. You may avoid further said data collection by uninstalling the App from your mobile device and not otherwise using the TaGo Platform.
We do not share your personal information with others except as indicated below or when we inform you and give you an opportunity to opt out of having your personal information shared. We may share personal information with:
Authorized service providers: We may share your personal information with our authorized service providers that perform certain Platform services on our behalf. These Platform services may include fulfilling orders, processing credit card payments, delivering packages, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, supporting our mobile app or website functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our mobile app or website or performing background checks of Providers. We may also release information to collection and/or credit agencies for past due Service Provider accounts. These providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
We use your email address and your other personal information to help us efficiently operate and improve the TaGo Platform, to contact you in connection with your transactions and other activities on the TaGo Platform (including, but not limited to, confirmation emails, account verification text messages, push notification alerts, or important news that could affect your relationship with TaGo), for identification and authentication, fraud prevention, perform background checks, to communicate Service requests from you to other users, and to contact you and others to suggest potential Customers for your Services.
We may use information, including personal information, to provide advertising on the TaGo Platform. We may also send you email and other messages with personalized offers and information about products and services and use information to show you online advertising on the TaGo Platform and on other websites and online services. You may be able to opt out of receiving on this browser personalized advertisements from advertisers, or other advertising networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative or who subscribe to the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out sections on the websites of each of those organizations. To register as a Provider, you may need to provide other Personal Information, including for example social security number, bank account and local government-issued I.D., and in some jurisdictions, we may collect additional business or contractor licenses.
We share certain information with our partners who help us by running background checks on Providers to help protect the TaGo community. We may use report information we receive from background check service providers for the purposes of assessing whether to permit an individual to use the TaGo Platform as a Provider and to comply with applicable law. To make sure Providers get paid, we keep information about Provider’s bank routing numbers, tax information, and any other payment information provided by Providers. To keep your data secure, we do not store your full bank account information or social security number on our servers.
TaGo Payment Method: When you add a credit card or payment method to your TaGo account, a third party that handles payments for us will receive your card information. To keep your financial data secure, we do not store full credit card information on our servers.
To operate the TaGo Platform, including processing your transactions and supporting your activities on the TaGo Platform, we may share your personal information with vendors, agents, and third-party service providers, so they can provide us with support services such as email origination, receipt or support services, and user relationship management services. We do not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission. We may allow access to other data collected by the TaGo Platform to enable the delivery of our online advertising on the TaGo Platform and on other websites and online services, or to send you information we think may be useful or relevant to you.

Checkr, Inc.: We use Checkr for purposes of performing background checks on Providers that register to perform Services for Customers on the TaGo Platform. During the registration process, the information you provide to Checkr is transmitted using SSL encryption. Twilio, Inc.: We use Twilio for registration of new users to make sure your contact information is accurate and that every new user account in our system is an actual person we can serve. We also use Twilio to mask your telephone number when you call or text (SMS) message another User using the telephone number provided by TaGo through the App. You can find information about Twilio's privacy practice at: https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacy.
Braintree and Stripe, Inc.: We use Braintree and Stripe to process any billing information between users and between users and us, including credit card information users submit. You can find information about Stripe's privacy practice at: https://stripe.com/us/privacy.
Other Users. When you agree to provide Services a Provider, we will display certain information about you to the Customer who requested the work. This information may include your name, photograph, geo-location, and rating. When you submit a Service request as a Customer, we will display certain information about you to Providers, such as your name, address, photograph, rating, and photographs of the work site.
Social Networking and Other Websites. The TaGo Platform may allow you to share information, including personal information, with social networking websites, such as Facebook. We do not share your personal information with them unless you direct the TaGo Platform to share it. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.
We may collect Personal Information through your communications with our customer-support team located in US and other countries. TaGo uses the information we collect (including recordings of customer support calls after notice to you and with your consent) to assist you when you contact our customer support services, including to:

As an enhanced privacy feature, we use a third-party authentication service provided by Twilio to mask the telephone numbers used during calls or texts (SMS) between all parties. We do not reveal telephone numbers submitted on file, although we store any call data, including associated date, time, and content.
Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including the following examples: the hardware model, operating system/version, software names/versions, file names/versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network information.
We use phone and internet providers to allow communications between users.
We use Blitzz to allow video conference between users.
We may use Twilio to mask your telephone number when you call or text (SMS) message another User using the telephone number provided by TaGo through the App. If you use this function, TaGo and Twilio receive in real time and store call data, including the date and time of the call or text (SMS) message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the text (SMS) messages. If you log in to the TaGo Platform through a social networking site, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google, Twilio, Firefox or Facebook, we may collect your authentication token, registration information, and account identification number and use that information to provide you with access to your account on the TaGo Platform.
When you interact with the TaGo Platform, we collect server logs, which may include device IP addresses, access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, browser type, and the third-party site/service accessed immediately prior to interacting with the TaGo Platform.
We want you to understand when and with whom we may share personal or other information we have collected about you or your activities on our mobile app or website or while using our Platform services.
When you are referred to us via a third-party marketing affiliate, we may share your email address, and other information that you provide, to such marketing affiliate.
When you make purchases, reservations or engage in promotions offered through our website or our Platform services, we may share personal information with the businesses with which we partner to offer you those products, Platform services, promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes. When you elect to engage in a merchant’s offer or program, you authorize us to provide your email address and other information to that merchant.
We match your information and service/product request against our list of Service or Business Providers. When you submit a service or product request through our mobile app or website, you consent to our providing your personal information and request to the Service or Business Providers we match with your request. Sharing this information with Service or Business Providers allows them to contact you using the e-mail address or other contact information you provided. In addition, we have other approved contractual partners that fulfill product or service requests, or that utilize their own Service or Business Providers to supplement our network, and we share your information with them in order to attempt to provide the product or services requested. If using our Platform services pursuant to a membership with one of our partners, TaGo may share your service request activity information with such partner.
From time to time we may share our postal mailing list with selected providers of goods and Platform services that may be of interest to you.
We also may disclose your information:
In response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
When we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, our employees, or others; to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement; or to enforce our website terms and conditions or other agreements or policies.
In connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of our business, a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.
For Service or Business Providers, we may share your business contact information with third parties, including but not limited to, business name, address, telephone number, email address and name of owner or proprietor of the business.
TaGo provides you with the ability to access and edit your personal information in of our Platforms. To update your personal information, sign in to the web or app and access the settings menu. There you can view, update and correct your account information. So that we can protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information, such as your age, that you cannot alter yourself. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from TaGo here. You may also opt out of receiving emails and other messages from TaGo by following the instructions in those messages. Please note that if you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as receipts for your requested services or payment to businesses or information about your account.
We may share aggregated and non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. We may also share it with third parties to develop and deliver targeted advertising on our websites and on websites of third parties. We may combine non-personalinformation we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated information with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. For example, we may tell our advertisers the number of visitors to our website and the most popular features or Platform services accessed. This information does not contain any personal information and may be used to develop website content and Platform services that we hope you and other users will find of interest and to target content and advertising.
